Hearing in Plumstead attempted killing postponed
A preliminary hearing for a New Hope man accused of attempting to kill a Plumstead woman during what authorities have called a three-hour torture session was postponed. Khalid Altawarh, a Jordanian who is suspected of being in the United States illegally, was supposed to have a hearing Monday, but the date was pushed back to June 29 after his attorney requested a continuance.
