Bausch & Lomb plans to cut 120 jobs

Bausch & Lomb is seeking another 120 job cuts at its Waterford plant. The company sought 195 redundancies last march after short time working failed to secure enough cuts in production costs. The new redundancies will be on a voluntary basis, as were those four months ago. The terms on offer are also the same and equate to six weeks pay per year of service, including statutory entitlements.
