I’m researching jobs for my enrichment class project and I’m looking in the business field. What would the available jobs be with a degree in business management?

My kid finished a degree in business management (operational) but I say this, they put you in training anyway as assistant manager and now she is going back to finish a masters in that because you need that to get the larger salaries, sorry to say.
Business careers are always in high demand!
When it comes down to business, where do you start? With a business degree, the options are limitless. There are many different directions you could go under the business umbrella. They include:
* Accounting
* Sales
* Marketing
* Business Administration
* Business Management
* Human Resources
Business schools offer different programs to accommodate your specific needs. You can pick any format, from online classes to more traditional 4-year university programs.
Salary Information,
Depending on the field you choose, the salary range for a business degree is very wide. According to U.S. Census Bureau, in 2005 someone with a Bachelor’s degree can earn an average of $52,671 annually, while those with a high school diploma earn an average of $26,933 annually.
Education Requirements
Education requirements vary by position. There are many different positions offered for a business degree. However, most non-entry-level positions require some training or postsecondary education. Many entry-level positions require only a high school diploma or GED, but college of some kind may be required for advancement.
Growth Statistics
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, workers in management, business, and financial employment are expected to increase 14.4% by 2014. The computer and information systems managers will grow the fastest through 2014. General and operations managers will add the most new jobs about – 308,000 by 2014. Among business and financial occupations accountants, auditors and management analysts will add 386,000 jobs combined. Employment, recruitment and placement specialists, and personal financial advisors will be the fastest-growing occupations in this group.
It depends on what you focused on as an undergrad the quality of your school’s program. You can get a job as an accountant, investment banker, management consultant, or get inside of a general management program at companies like IBM or P&G. The Business Degree is a pretty general degree and doesn’t hold much weight because of that. You’ll really have to find your speciality whether its marketing or finance, to start to move up salary rise, and eventually any employer will want you to go back to get an MBA.
Jobs in this category are unlimited. You can do Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Sales, etc. I am going to do a degree in Accounting. Good luck:)
