  • Has fundamental ideas and suggestions for implementation, however I thought this book was a giant advertisement for the author’s other services and books. I probably would not consider another of Ms. Jennings

    books…

  • This book should simply be entitled “Starting Your Own Business In Interior Redesign”. The title implies it covers all facets of redesign, but it doesn’t. It’s mostly about the start-up of a small business. It didn’t meet my needs for creative ideas on the redesign process.

  • This is a must-have book for anyone wanting to start their own interior redesign business. It covers all the basics of starting one’s own business, but it also gives you a play-by-play guide on how to get appointments, how to prepare for them, what to do when you get to the home, how to interact with the client, and the top, most useable arrangement configurations one should know. This is really practical stuff. Knowing how to successfully arrange the furniture the client already has is key to success as a redesigner. I did not feel that confident until I read this guide. This book delivers what it promises. There are some really useful forms at the end, along with a chapter on how to hang artwork, questions and answers and a whole lot more. The author clearly loves the business of redesign and has been very successful in her own right. Now she is devoted to helping others achieve their goals and dreams. I love her writing style too. I appreciate the links to other resources sprinkled throughout the book. It’s comforting not to have to go invent anything unless you want to. I have purchased other books she has written and recommend all of them very highly.

  • I brought this book as a recommendation from a staging course I took online. I must admit it was a two-fold blessing. The first one is, I learned more from this book then my whole course I spent alot of money on. The second thing is, I found someone who really knows what she is doing, and is teaching from her own experiences not someone elses.
