User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars A MUST READ! Have read them all!
I have purchased so many resume books in the last two years that I feel after getting this book it truly has the best information you need to make an impressive resume. It is like a workbook, but that’s what I find nice b/c you can keep open and read the pages while you work on your resume. It has awesome resume samples as well as great tips for overal writing great copy. I put tabs on certain sections to locate easily. This is one of those that you will keep.

This book has way to much to even list!

Buy it today you will love it! It’s seems like a book you would get if you were taking a resume/writing class. That much great info!!!

5 Stars Powerful piece of work
The author prepares you fully for the job interview. The book makes you think and organize your approach, leaving nothing to chance. I know a number of people who have used the book with great success.

5 Stars Pure Excellence
If you want to master interviews, this is the book for you!! It is concise, easy to read, and what I like best is that it is also a workbook. Hands on, roll up your sleeves and begin your job search journey. I have been out of the job search arena after losing my position of ten years, and this book has been a life saver. I have bought all the books by Susan Whitcomb and it has been a wonderful and useful investment.

5 Stars Outstanding!
This book is an excellent resource. After almost a year of job hunting, I bought this book, put its suggestions into practice, and within a month I had the interview that got me a job in my field. This book helps you generate a bank of success stories focusing on your experience, education, and skills, and shows you how to use them to best showcase yourself in an interview. It provides many example interview questions, and teaches you how to use your stories to answer those questions well, rather than offering canned responses that make all candidates sound the same. Finally, this book goes beyond interview questions and answers to cover other aspects (such as demeanor and attitude) that have a big impact on the impression you give a prospective employer. If you’re job hunting, this book is your best investment.

2 Stars Too much
This book is supposed to coach you on how to ace job interviews, but the author tries to cover all too many bases and end up being obfuscating rather than helpful.
